Non-Repeating & Directionally Patterned Laminates – the Skinny
You’ll be amazed by the options; many of which are designed to capture the uniqueness of natural stone. We love them! However, like stone, they may have non-repeating and/or directional patterns. What you need to know is that these laminates will have visible seams as incongruous laminates come together. The seam itself will be of the highest quality; however, we encourage you to consider how your dream pattern will look not just on surface area of the top but also at the seams and corners.
Stock Color List
The current stock list includes laminate stock colors from Formica, Pionite and Wilsonart. This ready-reference tool does not reflect non-stock colors. No worries – Non-stock material is available with additional lead and turnaround time. Feel free to request a color or text you do not see!

Order Lead Times
To determine your order lead time, you need to know your L.E. Smith shipping day*. If you currently know your shipping day, your orders should be submitted by midnight one business day prior. Your scheduled shipments are illustrated in the chart below. Use the “1 day prior to your typical shipping day as your rule” for order submission lead time.
Don’t know/recall your shipping day? Please contact one of our client specialists at:

| Order Lead Time (by 12 midnight) | Scheduled Shipping Day** |
| Friday | Monday (9 days after order) |
| Monday | Tuesday (7 days after order) |
| Tuesday | Wednesday (7 days after order |
| Wednesday | Thursday (7 days after order) |
Example: If your ship day is Monday, your orders are due Friday, by midnight. If your ship day is Tuesday, your orders are due by Monday at midnight. If your ship day is Wednesday, your orders are due Tuesday by midnight.
*Shipping Day reflects the day the countertops leave L.E. Smith. This may vary from the day the countertops are received due to overnight runs, or home deliveries. **This lead time assumes that your order is complete, and stocked materials have been requested. Non-stocked or special materials for those unique orders require additional lead time. Your L.E. Smith client service professional can help identify additional time requirements for these exceptions. Just give us a call and we will be happy to help you.
Oops…what if you miss your order lead time? Because your customers are ordering customized products, we must ensure that all details are complete, which often requires clarification of those details with you after you submit the order to us.
If your order requires clarification after your lead time passes, we may not be able to guarantee shipment on your scheduled day. Rather than delaying and jeopardizing timely production and delivery for orders submitted within lead timeframes, your customer should be informed that an additional 7 days will be required for completion (in the event that order clarifications are received after your lead time passes).
