Hello! My name is Kim Landel, and I’m the Logistics Manager for the L.E. Smith Company. We know it’s critical to you that we mange deliveries well – so you can deliver for your customers. That’s one reason we are proud of our 99% on-time delivery rate (3 years running).

When we say it’s going to be there, it’s there. We’re able to do this because we have our own fleet of delivery trucks, and our own drivers. We are more consistent keeping this in house as opposed to using a trucking firm. Aside from ownership, there are other factors that affect deliveries, and that cause questions. What day of the week will my order be delivered?

Your delivery day is determined by your geographic location. The L.E. Smith Company delivers to each geographic location one time per week. Please contact the Client Services Department to determine your delivery day.

Is my delivery day the same every week?

In most cases, yes, you’ll get your delivery the same day every week. We do have several overnight delivery routes that, based on the number of stops, can cause the last few deliveries to get pushed back to the beginning of the next day. Delivery days are also subject to change based on need, and you will be notified prior to any changes in the delivery schedule.

Will my delivery always be at the same time of day?

No, the time of day will vary based on what part of the delivery route you are located. The total number of deliveries made on each day can vary, causing the actual delivery time to vary as well.
