L.E. Smith Core Values

There are some things that just shouldn’t change. Our core values set the tone for how we want to act in every situation.  Added together, they capture who we are as a company and what we most value. 

Integrity:  We act with integrity when we speak the truth, act ethically, and align our actions and words with our values with all people and in all situations.  People can count on us to do what we say.

Humility:  We act with humility when we fully accept that we are no better than anyone else for any reason.  This is a belief that we are part of something bigger than we are, and that everyone’s role is instrumental.  Because of this, we look for ways to create success for others, ourselves, and the company.  

Mental Engagement:  We engage mentally when we show up ready to play with an open mind that is receptive to change and hungry for a better way.  Engagement increases our aptitude to learn quickly, adapt, and have fun driving change. 

Optimism:  An optimistic outlook on life is based on a belief that opportunity exists in all situations & that win/win is always possible.  It is the infinite belief in possibility cemented in realism.  We demonstrate optimism when we think creatively and positively in the face of a challenge with the goal of finding the opportunity in the problem. 

Passion / Energy:  Passion & energy means that we intentionally engage energetically with the vision and goals of the company and the desires of our clients.  We are driven to create progress in a positive, collaborative, enthusiastic way.
